    这组词都可表示“方面”,有时可以换用。它们的区别是:
    aspect通常指表面的变化,尤其是不可预测的情况带来的变化,还特指因观察者的出发点变化而引起的外貌的变化;phase指事物发展变化的阶段或状态,有时也指事物的某方面的特征;side一般指两面或两面以上,得转换角度观察才能全部看清;angle则指从一个受局限或特定的角度所看到的方面。

    1.face意义广泛,可指人或动物的脸,也可指面部表情,还可指事物的外表等。例如:

    2.feature仅涉及耳口鼻等五官时只用单数形式,指整个容颜、面貌时则须用复数形式。例如:

    6.appearance只表示对人或事物的外表进行客观的记叙,强调整体外貌。例如:

    这组词都可表示建筑物的朝向。它们的区别是:
    aspect主要指窗户或建筑物正立面的朝向;exposure主要指房间或房屋的朝向;frontage除了用于建筑物外,还可用于一块地方,意指其沿着或顺着街道或河流的方向建造或延伸。

    appearance,look,face,aspect

    这些名词都含事物或人的“外表,容貌”之意。
    appearance普通用词,着重由总体产生的印象。
    look普通用词,多用复数,可与appearance换用,但较口语化。
    face侧重指容貌。
