fond, glad

这两个词均与愉快的心情有关。它们的区别在于:fond指一种时间极长的,相对稳定的情感,可与of搭配使用; glad指对做某件事的具体情感,时间可能相对较短,可与动词不定式搭配使用。例如:
They are fond of playing volleyball.他们喜欢打排球。

fond, devoted

两者都可表示对某人、某事的情感。它们的区别在于:fond在程度上不如devoted深。例如:
