    lonely, alone

She felt lonely when she was left alone.
Though I am alone,I am not lonely.
Though I am not alone,I am lonely.
The few people on the street were alone and seemed lonely.
Now I am alone and can do more or less whatever I like.
There was a joy in closing the door behind the last departing guest and knowing that at last one was blessedly alone.
    There's a lonely house in a lonely wood.
    Riches alone cannot bring happiness.

    lonely,alone,desolate,lone,solitary
