slice, chunk, lump
这三个词都可以表示物品的零块,但在大小、形状、质料、概念上各不相同。chunk用于形状不均匀,可以切碎和分开的固体材料; slice用于薄而扁平,整齐地切开的东西,尤指食品; lump用于指大块的固体物品,其大小、形状不规则,尤指未经人工加工的定形物。
