receive

[rɪˈsiːv]
  • v.

    收到,得到;承受;对…作出反应;收听/看;接待;购买;接/发球;

    receive, accept

Her husband did not accept〔receive〕 her story.
The theory was not received〔accepted〕 as truth by the broad masses of people.
    I've received an invitation but I don't think I'll accept.
Though he has received several offers, he can accept only one of them.
简而言之,“accept=receive+乐意地”。
I've received your invitation.

    receive, hear from

    I haven't heard from him for a long time.
I haven't received any letters from him for several months.

    receive, admit, take

    accept,receive,admit,take
